It's the bane of any editor. You find that one shot you want to use and it has exposure problems. Either it's too bright, or not bright enough. What do you do? What do you do?

Here's a couple tips from Ground Control trainer Casey Faris:
You can fix shots that are just a little underexposed with little problem. Shots that are severley underexposed can still work but will be very noisy and suffer from color pollution. Overexposed looks bad pretty much immediately, you can improve them a bit, but not much.
